With nearly 30 years in residential construction, Mike Campbell is a true craftsman who brings precision, experience, and pride to every build. Before establishing Mike Campbell Construction in 2007, he honed his skills as a Site Foreman for a leading construction company, managing numerous residential projects throughout the Manawatū. Mike’s approach is deliberately hands-on—by keeping the company small and focused, he’s able to personally supervise each custom build from the ground up. That means no corners cut, no details overlooked, and a commitment to quality that’s rare in today’s market. As a Licensed Building Practitioner, Mike partners closely with clients and architects from the very beginning, making sure each home is tailored to its site, reflects the client’s unique vision, and avoids unnecessary changes or costs during the process. Every home built by Mike Campbell Construction is a one-of-a-kind result of skilled craftsmanship, thoughtful planning, and a personal dedication to doing things right. And when he’s not on site, Mike’s likely out on the water— he’s a keen fisherman who finds balance and inspiration on the Tongariro River and on the shores of Lake Taupō.

After a decade in Western Australia’s construction scene, Ben made the move back to Feilding and joined Mike Campbell Construction in 2022. With extensive experience in alterations and extensions, Ben quickly became a cornerstone of the team. His calm, methodical approach and wealth of knowledge make him a natural mentor to our apprentices and a steady hand on every site. Ben’s craftsmanship and quiet leadership elevate both our builds and our workplace culture. When he’s not on the tools, you’ll likely find him casting a line—Ben’s a keen fisherman who knows the best local spots along the Manawatū river.

Jordan came on board in late 2024, bringing a strong foundation in carpentry and a genuine passion for the craft. After completing two years of his apprenticeship, he briefly taught carpentry at a local high school before returning to the tools. Now on track to complete his qualification, Jordan’s mature perspective and level-headed nature make him a perfect fit for our tight-knit, quality-driven team. Outside of work, Jordan channels his discipline and focus into MMA training—an outlet that reflects his dedication, resilience, and drive to continually improve.
